Course Components

Our course is divided into two main components; and the additional component of the application process:

Step 1: Online Training Module

Duration: Approximately 8 hours
Format: Interactive online lessons
Content:

Understanding the legal aspects of firearm carrying and self-defense laws
Safety protocols for handling and storing firearms.
Conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
Situational awareness and decision-making under pressure

Learn at your own pace, providing you with the flexibility to start, pause, and resume based on your personal schedule. This section includes quizzes and interactive scenarios to test your knowledge and prepare you for the range training.

Hands-On Range Training/Qualification

Duration: 2-3 hours
Location: Accredited shooting ranges

The range session is scheduled after you complete the online portion and is aimed at enhancing your shooting skills and confidence in handling a firearm. Our certified instructors will guide you through the process, ensuring you meet all the safety and proficiency standards.

Certification and Permit Application Process

Upon successful completion of both the online and range portions of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, which you can then use to apply for your carry permit. We provide detailed guidance on the application process and are here to assist with any questions or concerns.
